Views are being sought on the construction of about 200 homes near a city shopping centre.
Hull City Council said a two-week public consultation would begin on 28 April, looking at its plans to "transform the area and bring much-needed new homes".
Land to the rear of St Stephen's Shopping Centre was allocated for housing in 2023.
Proposals include the building of multi-storey properties and redeveloping the empty south wing of Earle House.
Feedback can be provided until 11 May. Consultants Stantec will be at a stand in the shopping centre on 28 and 29 April.
